A Philosophical Mood
February 14, 2013 in At Work, Opinion
So being in a bit of a philosophical mood, I sat back in my chair and looked up at a quotation on my wall. It says, “What’s meant to be…will always find you!”
This is quite a fatalistic view on life and I was wondering how many of you share this view with me. Don’t get me wrong, I am not saying we must sit back and wait for things to find us, what I am saying is that when we are active and looking for things to do, somehow the right things cross our path.
Now looking back to the last few days, I find that I have been quite stressed and really running around and on occasion I have felt that I am doing too much. So if this is the right thing, surely I then have to learn a lesson from this…(remembering that I’m in a philosophical mood)…so I have come to the conclusion that my lesson this day is twofold.
1. Be grateful for what you are able to accomplish
2. Continue to work at improving your communication and delegation, so that you do not get to the point of being stressed
That is when I decided to take the time out and quickly share this with you. So there it is! I hope you are enjoying your day so far.
